Every year, members of our local community nominate teachers who go above and beyond for their students. As a way to recognize their dedication, we’re proud to award 12 local teachers with $500 Extra Mile Grants to support their classrooms, students and continued education.​

This year’s grants will help provide everything from classroom and project supplies to athletic equipment, science projects and hands-on learning tools. Some grants will support specialized resources that help students learn and participate, while others will help teachers further their own education and professional goals.​

We’re proud to support teachers who continue to go the extra mile every day, and grateful to everyone in our community who took the time to nominate a deserving educator.
